Get to know rising actress, dancer and activist Mela Murder

“There is nothing on this planet that would ever corner me into a space where I would feel the need to hide my child in order to thrive," according to Mela Sierra (known professionally as Mela Murder). "We thrive together as a unit. With me comes her and whoever wants to work with me needs to respect that.”

Whether starring in 2017’s award-winning picture The Florida Project, touring with Major Lazor or sharing raw, personal experiences of single motherhood whilst still bossing it in the industry, the Brooklyn-based talent is a force to be reckoned with. In a new 70s-inspired shoot for HUNGER , titled ‘Beyond Compare,’ Mela celebrates one of her biggest creative projects so far; her daughter Amethyst.
